Holiday Happy Story - b’drizzled Gourmet Popcorn

What a difference a little bit of popcorn can make in someone’s life!

This holiday I decided on a whim to send my grandfather some chocolate cherry cordial popcorn.  It sounds like a simple thing but because of the circumstances it became much larger than one could have ever imagined.  You see, my grandfather (a bed ridden paraplegic) and I have been estranged for almost 5 years.  But as a little girl I always gave my grandfather chocolate covered cherries at Christmas as a special gift.

When I sent the popcorn I had no expectations.  But a phone call on Christmas Eve from my grandfather changed everything.  You see, he received the b’drizzled Popcorn and with tearful words he asked to see me.

When I saw my grandfather on Christmas day the popcorn sat right next to him as he told me the story of receiving it.  Then he looked at me with tears in his eyes and asked me to forgive him.  He told me the taste of the chocolate cherry cordial popcorn from b’drizzled reminded him of times gone by, of the joy of my childhood and he told me he didn’t want to miss another minute of my life!  That evening we shared popcorn together, and talked about our lives through smiles and tears.

Miracles come in the smallest of packages sometimes; disguised as happy little pieces of popcorn.  What a Christmas Blessing b’drizzled Popcorn has given my family this year.

Needless to say, my grandfather is eager to buy more popcorn and I am too!
